– Ngulube Taxidermy offers a variety of services:-
FULL MOUNT
A Full mount means the entire animal will be prepared as your trophy. This includes a mounting base typical of the animal’s environment/ habitat, or as alternative as specified by the client.
HALF MOUNT
A Half mount means the front or back half of the animal will be prepared as your trophy. Half mounts can be half wall mounts or free-standing pedestal mounts on a base e.g. wood pedestal box, or an alternative as specified by the client.
SHOULDER MOUNT
A Shoulder mount shows the head and neck of the animal, and is usually mounted on a wooden base against a wall.
SKULL MOUNT
In a Skull mount the horns and small piece of skull are mounted on a wooden shield. The shield offers various options which could include a picture of your hunt.
FLAT SKIN TANNING
The animal’s skin goes through a tanning process to clean and prepare it for general use.
We offer two options here:
- Hair is left on the skin (fur hide), or
- The skin is converted into soft leather which is coloured according to your choice (any colour, except white, is offered).
BIRDS
Birds are mounted in full on a base typical of the bird’s habitat. Various mounting positions are available.
